GLE week 3

We made some applesauce on Monday and apple crisp on Tuesday. Callen loved cutting up the apples. I forgot to take pics of the finished products, but they were so delicious.

I laminated our apple prints and put numbers on them for callen to put in order. He had fun with that!

Wk 3

a is for apple
We taste tested all these apples. The Granny Smith was a little too sour;)

Then we painted with apples, and celery. (The celery was just bc I had it, no real relevance) ;)

GLE wk 2

Seeds
He loved exploring all these seeds

Now we wait a wk to see if any start to sprout!
He wanted to plant some seeds outside so bad, so he planted some squash. He's been checking them every day to see if they have grown. It is so cute.

X pt 3

Making and X with our body
He wanted to try his legs too, a little tricky;)
Making our X snack. Cheese and crackers and carrot sticks. He had so much fun with this.

Decorating the letter page.
X practice in the box
Callen cut thee gold coins out, then I hid them for a treasure hunt. After we did a bunch of those, he glued this in this "treasure box".

**Letter of the week pencil topper
Our "morning board" with a map, letter and verse of the week, weather chart and any other projects for that week.

Below the board is our treasure map that callen will add a letter piece each week throughout the year.

I have some other alphabet work for him to do for each week. Including some dollar store/aisle books that work great for this.

Pt 2

Next callen decorated his name badge
Then we made some binoculars. With brown paper from the dollar store. I was cutting the paper for out treasure map and the extra at the bottom curled up so well I decidedto use this instead of the toilet paper rolls (which I didn't have empty ones!) he had fun coloring and stapling the paper.

Next is our weather chart. Deciding what kind of day it was. **The other day callen noticed it was windy by the trees blowing. He said I have to go down and do the weather!!;)
